A Wink and a Smile

More about Amber

Alexandra was away from home and lonely when the man of her dreams showed up unexpectedly.  He was convinced that God meant for them to be together.  This was what she had dreamed of for so long, but why was she so unsure?

A chance meeting with a childhood friend made matters even more confusing when she felt a strong attraction to him.  Should she follow her heart or follow her head?

Read A Wink and A Smile to find out which man Alex chooses.

Dear Reader,

I wrote A Wink and a Smile to encourage young ladies to not give up on the plan that God has for their lives.  I believe God has a wonderful plan for all of you.  If you do your best to follow His guidance and keep high standards for yourself, you will be rewarded with a fulfilling future and a wonderful helpmate when the time is right.  Do not be discouraged if it seems all your friends are leaving you behind or that you are on a different path, because everyone has a different road to travel to find their own way through life.

I have kept a journal for years and I write things as they come to mind, but I have never considered publishing any of my works until I let my parents read A Wink and a Smile and they convinced me to allow others to read it as well.  I would encourage you ladies to use the talents that God has given you, whatever they may be.  God has given us all special differences and abilities so that we may share them and encourage others in our own special ways.

As you go through life, remember that the most important thing is to keep God first and seek His will and he will bless you and give you your heart’s desires.

Here are some scriptures for you to think about in your daily walk with God.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Matthew 6:33

“We can make our plans, but the final outcome is in God’s hands.”  Proverbs 16:1

“Above all else, guard your affections.  For they influence everything else in your life.”  Proverbs 4:23

I’d love to hear from you anytime.

God bless you,

 Amber Burns
